Client Journey | Briner - Total Signage Solutions
For the past 15 years Crabtrees Director, Chris McKenzie, has worked closely with Con Tsakonas, Managing Director of Briner, forging a strong working relationship. Offering quality signage and installation solutions to the market, including supplying the Crabtrees signboards, Briner have been operating for over 70 years and have established a loyal customer base and a stellar reputation.
To support the expansion of their business, Con approached Chris with a brief and they began the search for a new HQ.
‘We had a very clear idea of what was required in terms of size, location and layout. When Chris first showed us the premises he had found, though it was a bit “tired”, we knew straightaway the layout and location were exactly right for Briner. We were unsure of the size initially but after consulting with an external design engineer, we were able to see that we could design a workspace to suit our needs for now and for the future. It was a fairly major overhaul to get the premises to where we are now, but we were fortunate that there was no major structural work required. We are very proud of what has been achieved in a relatively short amount of time,’ says Con.
The former HQ for Briner comprised two factory sites as well as an office, which Con states was not ideal. ‘The new premises has brought all areas if Briner under a single roof. It’s a far more collaborative and efficient work space for all areas of the business and we are seeing a more inclusive and efficient process from the admin team through to the factory team.’
