Leased - 2/126-134 Fairbank Road, Clayton

A local butcher with multiple shops, two in the heart of Clayton Road, Clayton, one in Brandon Park Shopping Centre and another in Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre, has leased a prominent office warehouse at 2/126-134 Fairbank Road, Clayton.

Crabtrees Real Estate Chris McKenzie and Rodney King brokered the 10-year deal for the 1,465sqm facility at $132,000 per annum net.

“The tenant will fit-out the premises into a number of food production rooms along with cool rooms.” Rodney King said.

Another recent off market deal brokered by Crabtrees Chris McKenzie and Rodney King was for a fully fitted food production facility at 16 Capella Crescent Moorabbin.

The 1,491sqm warehouse was leased by a Chinese sausage company to supply their two butcher shops, as well as wholesaling to shops and restaurants across Australia.

The property was leased for $160,000 per annum net on a 5 + 5-year deal.

Rodney King added “There are very few operational food production facilities available and we have had a number of quality tenants looking to secure properties that are either fitted out with cool rooms or ones they can fit-out themselves.”
